Nio will begin trial operations of a new showroom in the Netherlands, as the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker continues to expand its presence in Europe.

Nio's first Nio Hub in the Netherlands, located in Breukelen, will go into trial operation on August 8, offering customers a full range of services. Customers will be able to experience all of Nio's models that have been released in Europe and participate in test drives at the facility, Nio said.

The Nio Hub supports vehicle purchase, delivery, and maintenance, and customers can also experience and purchase Nio Life products at the facility.

It's the latest move for Nio in the Netherlands, where it opened the first Nio House on March 23. The Nio House is located at Meent 80-84 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands' second-largest city, and Nio co-founder and president, Qin Lihong, attended the opening of the facility.

Nio House is Nio's flagship showroom, and in addition to displaying and selling vehicles, it is also a lifestyle space for Nio owners.

Nio opened its first Nio House in Norway on October 1, 2021, its first showroom in Europe.

As of June 30, Nio had 125 Nio Houses worldwide, including 119 in China and six overseas. Its smaller Nio Spaces totaled 271 worldwide, including 263 in China and eight overseas.
