On May 21, the 300000th mass-produced JAC Pickup was officially rolled off the production line. Mr. Zhang Feng, Deputy General Manager of JAC and Party Committee of the Pickup Truck Division, attended the event to announce the offline of the 300,000th JAC pickup truck.
The ceremony was also attended by Zhu Dingjin, deputy secretary and Governor of the Jiangdu District, and Feng Liangsen, secretary of the board of directors of JAC and general manager of the pickup division. Heads of relevant departments of Jiangdu District Government, representatives of each unit of JAC, domestic and foreign dealers, suppliers and user representatives gathered here together to witness this historic moment.

Mr. Zhu Dingjin extended warm congratulations to JAC. He pointed out that JAC pickups have gained trust among customers around the world and built a good reputation for their premium quality and performance. JAC has emerged as the second-biggest pickup manufacturer in China last year, making a significant contribution to local economic development. The rolling of the 300000th pickups marks the beginning of a new stage. We hope that JAC will seize this opportunity to promote product and technology upgrading, increase efforts to expand overseas and domestic markets, and deliver more brilliant performance.

On behalf of JAC Pickup, Feng Liangsen expressed his sincere greetings and heartfelt thanks to friends from all walks of life who have been concerned about and supported the development of JAC Pickup. He pointed out that from the 1st pickup truck to the 200,000th, it took JAC 13 years, while from the 200,000th to the 300,000th, it took JAC just less than 2 years.

We acknowledge it as a remarkable outcome due to independent operation, transformation and upgrading, but also the results of joint efforts by JAC staff, as well as an important milestone in the globalization of Chinese pickup trucks.

Based on the development strategy of ‘Equal development of CVs and PCs, equal emphasis on fuel and EVs, dual drive of domestic and overseas markets’, JAC is committed to building an integrated and efficient operation capacity that enables it to conduct research, production, supply, marketing and transportation. JAC products have been exported to more than 132 countries and regions, covering Latin America, the Middle East, Central Asia, Europe and Southeast Asia. Global sales reach 55,000 units in 2023, up 11.3 per cent year-on-year. The domestic market grew by 16.3 per cent year-on-year, while the international market grew by 9.9 per cent year-on-year. From January to April this year, JAC's global cumulative sales of pickup trucks totalled 18,200 units, with more new energy pickups to be launched with the passenger car level intelligence.
