Recently, the 2024 RCEP Local Government and Friendship City Cooperation Forum, themed "Regional Cooperation, Joint Development," opened in Huangshan City. Zhang Peng, Vice General Manager of Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (JAC Motors), attended the forum and delivered a speech.

Mr. Zhang emphasized that JAC Motors, a Fortune Global 500 enterprise, has evolved over 60 years into one of China's few comprehensive automotive groups with core technologies spanning commercial and passenger vehicles. At the Beijing Auto Show this year, JAC unveiled the DEFINE Concept, integrating four major technological pillars: "High-Performance Intelligent Architecture, Cross-Domain Integrated Smart Chassis, Skyline Intelligent Cockpit, and Advanced Intelligent Driving." Featuring a third-generation 460kW silicon carbide drive motor, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds and includes an 800V 4C fast-charging system, recently winning the prestigious Red Dot Concept Design Award in Germany.

In addition to prioritizing independent development, JAC Motors has intensified collaboration efforts. Strategic agreements with Huawei encompass full-scale cooperation in product development, manufacturing, sales, and services, focusing on luxury intelligent connected electric vehicles, with initial projects for two models underway.

Furthermore, through a strategic joint venture with Volkswagen, the new Volkswagen-Anhui plant commenced operations in December 2023, exporting to European markets, while JAC's first electric vehicle for the domestic market is set to launch soon. Collaboration with NIO in battery swapping will introduce models that are "chargeable, swappable, and upgradable," enhancing overall user experience. Moreover, alliances with CATL, Tencent, iFLYTEK, and other tech giants aim to continually deliver safer, more liberated, and enjoyable mobility solutions.

Expanding into overseas markets early on, JAC Motors has steadfastly pursued an internationalization strategy, achieving significant milestones. To date, it has established six overseas subsidiaries and nineteen factories globally, exporting vehicles to over 132 countries and regions, serving millions of users worldwide.

In the RCEP region, JAC's high-end smart pickup T9 held its official launch in March, gearing up for mass production. With subsidiary operations established in Vietnam and Malaysia, and electric vehicle imports slated for Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Myanmar, and Laos this year, JAC Motors maintains a strong regional presence.

Mr. Zhang highlighted that China's automotive exports are rapidly growing, shifting from traditional trade exports to a "New Overseas" model of collaborative outputs in technology and capital, integrating complete vehicles and components. JAC Motors aims to strengthen strategic synergies with industry-leading partners along the supply chain, integrating resources in photovoltaics, energy storage, liquid-cooled fast charging, and new energy vehicles, to forge a high-quality integrated "Light-Storage-Charge-Vehicle" overseas model.

In conclusion, JAC Motors continues to lead in pioneering innovation and strategic collaboration, shaping a dynamic landscape in the global automotive industry.
