Ferrari will launch its first electric car in 2025 after thousands of miles of extensive road testing. The exact design of Ferrari's first electric car has not yet been announced, but the company has confirmed that it will be unveiled late next year, with sales scheduled to begin in 2026.

Ferrari will likely replicate the dynamic characteristics of its internal combustion engine cars by centralizing the battery mass in the chassis, similar to those with front- or rear-mounted mid-engine cars.

The new electric car, priced from $500,000 (£395,000), is currently under development, with a second electric car already in the works. Production of Ferrari's electric cars will take place in Building E at Ferrari's Maranello plant.

The plant has a new state-of-the-art production line, which is expected to be operational by January 2025 and will initially produce the Purosangue and SF90 models, followed by electric cars in 2026. The new line will not replace Ferrari's two existing production lines, but Ferrari has not said whether it will increase capacity.
