Recently, Great Wall Motors held a big launch event for its GWM brand in Montevideo, Uruguay. The event was themed “Hello, Tomorrow” and showcased GWM’s fresh new image. At the event, they introduced four brands: Haval, Ora, Tank, and Great Wall Pickup, highlighting the company’s strong products and tech.
Mercosur, the largest economic group in South America, is where Great Wall Motors is teaming up with local dealers. They aim to offer new smart, safe, and eco-friendly cars to customers in Uruguay, Paraguay, and Argentina. The dealers’ parent company runs Europe’s second-largest logistics company and covers the whole automotive industry chain. A total of 141 people from the media, investors, and influencers across Uruguay, Paraguay, and Argentina attended the event.
On the next day, more than 110 media representatives got to test drive the vehicles. Autoblog’s reporter, after driving the Tank 300, said, “The Tank 300 looks great and has lots of features. It’s perfect for any kind of terrain.”
Cronicas also mentioned, “I visited Great Wall Motors’ headquarters and test drove their cars back in April. I was amazed at how quickly they’re growing. Seeing so many new products launch today in Uruguay and other markets will definitely change how people view Chinese car brands and give them a real taste of smart technology.”
The launch event in Uruguay showed Great Wall Motors' strong commitment to the South American market. The GWM brand is all about “clean, safe, and smart” vehicles, aiming to bring high-quality cars with new energy, top safety standards, and innovative features, and upgrade the local automotive industry.
