Denza has officially introduced its D9 right-hand drive (RHD) model to the Thai market, with a launch event held in Bangkok. Available in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive versions, the D9 RHD comes with a price range of THB 1.99 million to THB 2.69 million (approximately RMB 420,000 to RMB 567,000). This expansion marks Denza’s fourth market in the Asia-Pacific region, following launches in Hong Kong, Cambodia, and Singapore.Thailand, the largest automotive market in Southeast Asia and a major production hub, has traditionally been dominated by Japanese brands in the luxury MPV segment. The Denza D9 RHD, based on the successful design and style of its popular model in China, is tailored with a right-hand drive layout to meet local needs.

With a starting price of THB 1.99 million, the Denza D9 RHD offers a fresh option in Thailand's luxury MPV market and aims to bring more competition to the segment.

In China, Denza has already gained a strong customer base, with over 250,000 users, thanks to the D9’s reliability and high resale value. By reshaping the domestic MPV market, the D9 has disrupted a decades-long dominance by joint-venture brands. Its steady sales in 2024 suggest it may once again lead China’s MPV market by year’s end.

A month earlier, in October 2024, the Denza D9 RHD was also launched in Singapore with prices starting at SGD 296,888 (approximately RMB 1.6 million), marking a significant premium over the Chinese market. This expansion underlines Denza’s commitment to bringing the D9 to right-hand drive markets.
