On October 28, FAW’s Bestune brand officially launched two electric vehicle models—the Bestune NAT and Bestune Pony—in Bogotá, Colombia, marking its entry into the Colombian market. The launch event at Bogotá's W Hotel was attended by local media, key opinion leaders, and dealers, representing a significant step in Bestune’s push for green mobility in Latin America.

At the event, Economic Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Colombia, Mr. Gao Jinbao, and Colombian Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade, Mr. Luis Felipe Quintero, each spoke about the cooperation between China and Colombia in the field of electric vehicles. Mr. Gao highlighted the mutual benefits of this partnership, which supports Bestune’s entry into Colombia and injects new energy into the local auto industry while offering new options for climate action. Mr. Quintero noted that the Colombian government is actively supporting electric vehicles to reduce pollution, and he welcomed Bestune’s NAT and Pony models as essential additions to the country’s shift toward green transport.

The Bestune NAT, built on the FME electric platform, combines safety and comfort. It has a unique design featuring a convenient right-side sliding door, flexible seating, and a foldable front passenger seat, offering a spacious interior for a more comfortable travel experience. The NAT showcases Bestune’s progress in electric vehicle innovation and user-friendly design.

The Bestune Pony stands out with its cute, compact look, flexible design, and a playful interior, appealing especially to young families. Its eco-friendly electric drive and high safety rating make it an ideal choice for urban mobility. This small electric car has already gained attention in China and is set to bring sustainable city transport options to Colombia and more cities in Latin America.

Bestune will showcase the NAT and Pony from November 6 to 17 at the 18th International Motor Show in Colombia, where these models are expected to attract widespread interest from the public and spark more conversation about the future of sustainable mobility.

Looking forward, Bestune will continue to expand in Latin America, promoting electric mobility and providing more environmentally friendly and smart travel options for customers.
