On December 9, the first HYPTEC SSR electric supercar was delivered to its overseas owner in a grand ceremony at the GAC Aion EXPRESSWAY RAMINTRA dealership in Bangkok, Thailand. This milestone marks the beginning of HYPTEC SSR's journey into the global market, showcasing the pinnacle of Chinese high-end manufacturing.

GAC Aion's Southeast Asia General Manager, Mr. Ma Haiyang, attended the event to personally unveil the car with the owner and present a customized SSR model as a gift. He expressed gratitude for the customer’s trust and support, emphasizing that this delivery is the start of a lasting relationship. Mr. Ma also highlighted that HYPTEC, GAC Aion’s premium brand, is committed to combining cutting-edge technology with oriental aesthetics to explore the high-end market. The new owner of the SSR was thrilled, saying, “The moment I saw the SSR, I was captivated by its futuristic design—it felt like a car straight out of a sci-fi movie. It completely changed my perception of electric vehicles. With 1.9 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h, a lightweight full-carbon-fiber body, and 1,225 horsepower, it’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a car. After the test drive, I knew this was my dream vehicle.”

To make the delivery memorable, the GAC Aion overseas team carefully planned a ceremony filled with personal touches and attention to detail.

The owner was particularly moved by a custom video that chronicled their journey with HYPTEC SSR—from the initial encounter and test drive to the car’s production and delivery in Thailand. Every step showcased GAC Aion's dedication to exceeding customer expectations and delivering exceptional service.

The event featured a series of thoughtful gestures, including a warm team welcome, flower presentations, and a beautifully decorated stage for the car handover. Senior executives unveiled the car and posed for photos, while a personal sales consultant provided a comprehensive vehicle introduction. The dealership manager explained after-sales services, highlighting the strong support team in place. To enhance the celebration, the owner received a limited-edition gift box and a custom car model. A private lunch accompanied by classical music added to the exclusive experience.

GAC Aion is rapidly expanding its presence in Thailand, with 57 dealerships already in operation and plans to grow to 80 by 2025. The company is also addressing charging needs with its "100 Cities, 1,000 Charging Stations" initiative, aiming to build 200 charging stations and install 1,000 charging piles across 100 cities in Thailand by 2027.

Through AION and HYPTEC, GAC Aion is taking bold steps to meet the diverse needs of global customers. With a focus on premium electric vehicles, the brand is delivering competitive and innovative solutions for sustainable mobility worldwide.
